Overview of GCS Programs 
  1. The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies degree requires 120 -semester units which consist of 36 units of general education including 3 units of Research & Critical Writing, 72 units of biblical/theological studies and ministerial courses, and 12 units of electives. The minimum grade for graduation is C+   
     

  2. The Master of Divinity with Chaplaincy/Leadership Studies degree is an 90/84 -credit hour course program and is structured to be completed in three to four years of full-time study, and the maximum length of time allowed to complete the program is six years from the time of admission. Students in the Master of Divinity program must complete basic required courses such as Old- and New Testament-related courses; Introduction to the History of Christian Theology, Systematic Theology, and Practical Theology, in addition to other pastoral-related courses. Students’ average grade is beyond B. 
     

  3.  The Master of Christian Intercultural Studies and Mission is a 45-credit hour course program and is structured to be completed in two to three years of full-time study, and the maximum length of time allowed to complete the program is six years from the time of admission. Students in The Master of Intercultural Studies and Covenant Ministry program must complete basic required courses such as bible and theology core and Senior Studies Major course in addition to other intercultural studies courses. Students’ average grade is beyond B. 
     

  4.  The Master of Art in Christian Counseling is a 42-credit hour course program and is structured to be completed in two to three years of full-time study, and the maximum length of time allowed to complete the program is six years from the time of admission. Students in the Master of Arts in Counseling must complete basic required courses such as Bible and Theology Core - (9 credit hours and Counseling Major Core - (18 credit hours), Electives Courses (9 credits), and Thesis Project Courses (6). Students’ average grade is beyond B.
     

  5.  The Master of Arts in the Third Age Senior Christian Education is a 42-credit hour program and is structured to be completed in two to three years of full-time study, and the maximum length of time allowed to complete the program is six years from the time of admission. Studies Major course in addition to other intercultural studies courses. Students are required to complete the following to be eligible for the Master of Arts in Senior Studies and Ministry degree:1) Bible & Theology Core Courses (12 credits) 2)Senior Studies Major Courses (12 credit); 3)Thesis Project (6 credits); 4)Electives (minimum 9 credits). The student’s average grade is beyond B.
     

  6. The Master of Biblical Hermeneutics is a 36 -credit hour course program and is structured to be completed in two-three years of full-time study, and the maximum length of time allowed to complete the program is six years from the time of admission. Students in the Master of Biblical and Exegetical Studies program must complete basic required courses such as Old- and New Testament-related courses; Introduction to the History of Christian Theology, Systematic Theology, and Practical Theology, in addition to other pastoral-related courses. Students’ average grade is beyond B.

  7. The Master of Theology in Biblical Exegetics offers 39 credits hour biblically and theologically exegetical studies of the 66 Books of the Bible with special emphasis upon the perspective of God’s covenant. This training can help ensure that students are fully equipped for biblical and theological hermeneutics, interdisciplinary applications, and optimal ministry impact as students further the Kingdom of God. Through the Master of Theology in Biblical Exegetics program, students can obtain advanced skills in biblical exegetics to implement into their preaching ministry and be prepared to take their calling further through a full understanding of the Bible. It is designed primarily as a degree for students who seek an in-depth knowledge of the Bible to strengthen their pastoral and missional calling and kingdom leadership as ordained and non-ordained leaders in local congregations, parachurch organizations, and mission agencies.

8. Philosophy of Doctor in Christian Intercultural Studies and Leadership Studies/ Integrative Covenant Theology & Ministry is a 60 credit hours course program and is structured to be completed in three –four years of full- time study and the maximum length of time allowed to complete the program is six years from the time of admission. Students in the Philosophy of Doctor in Intercultural Studies and Leadership Studies(Track 1) must complete basic required courses such as Foundational Courses (12 credits), Intercultural Leadership Major Courses (18 credit), Discipline Electives (12 credit), Comprehensive ( 3 Credits) and  Project and Dissertation (3 credits). Students in the Philosophy of Doctor in Intercultural Studies and Integrative Covenant Theology and Ministry(Track 2) must complete basic required courses such as Intercultural Studies  Courses (12 credits), Integrative Covenant Theology & Ministry  major Courses (18 credit), Discipline Electives (12 credit), Comprehensive ( 3 Credits) and  Project and Dissertation (3 credits). Student’s average grade is beyond B.
